Remembrance

Here in the United States, the recent anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001 serves
as a reminder of many things to many people: the tragic loss of innocent lives; the
selfless sacrifice of many heroes; the recognition that hatred still exists; the
understanding that the world will never be the same; and many more.
The shocking events of that day have may have thrown some of us off balance, and many
of us are still seeking a return to stability, a return to a sense of peace and
well-being.
In the midst of inner turbulence and outer uncertainty, it is extremely helpful to
remember that each of us possesses marvelous qualities of inner strength
and
all we need to do is call on these inner powers to lead us in the direction of restoring
hope to ourselves to the world.
