Remembrance

Here in the United States, the recent anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001 serves as a reminder of many things to many people: the tragic loss of innocent lives; the selfless sacrifice of many heroes; the recognition that hatred still exists; the understanding that the world will never be the same; and many more.

The shocking events of that day have may have thrown some of us off balance, and many of us are still seeking a return to stability, a return to a sense of peace and well-being.

In the midst of inner turbulence and outer uncertainty, it is extremely helpful to remember that each of us possesses marvelous qualities of inner strength … and all we need to do is call on these inner powers to lead us in the direction of restoring hope to ourselves to the world.
