| Relaxation Tip of the Week
Attitude
Moment to moment, the attitudinal lenses that you choose to wear color your world
for better or for worse. Experience the difference between being appreciative or being
critical, or between viewing yourself as a victim or holding a more empowered attitude.
Adopting an optimistic attitude toward the universe at large and the immediate challenges
you face allows you to tap into a greater reservoir of creative energy potential
that helps you maintain an even keel.

A Personal Note of Thanksgiving
by Bryan Brewer, Producer, Self-Guided.com
At this time of year, I personally have much to be thankful for: a
healthy body and mind, a loving family, a warm home, a caring circle of friends, and an
ever-questing spirit that guides me to bring forth abundant expressions of my true self.
Among that circle of friends are two people who have played an important and
long-lasting role in helping me and countless others along the path: Joel and
Michelle Levey.

I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to Joel and Michelle
for their loving support, encouragement, and contributions to the success of
Self-Guided.com. Without them, this enterprise would not be possible.
Joel and Michelle Levey -- through their books, recordings, teaching, consulting, and
personal work -- have made many wonderful contributions to the pursuit of inner
knowledge, self-realization, and the uplifting of the human spirit on behalf of
the tens of thousands of people whose lives they have touched over the past thirty years.
To give you an glimpse of the breadth and depth of their journey together, I've
compiled a few highlights of key accomplishments of Joel and Michelle Levey:
- Wrote six books, produced several audio programs, and contributed to numerous
anthologies and other publications.
- Spent an entire year in silent meditation, speaking only with their teacher once a week.
- Consulted with groups at AT&T, Boeing, NASA, Hewlett-Packard, DuPont, the World
Bank, and more than 200 other organizations to help develop high performing individuals,
teams, and entire organizations.
- Taught hundreds of classes in meditation, concentration, and relaxation techniques.
- Helped develop the groundbreaking Ultimate Warrior Training Program for the U.S. Army
Green Berets.
- Spoke at dozens of conferences world wide on topics of inner development and work life
balance.
- Coached corporate CEOs, business leaders, and recording-holding world-class athletes
(including an Olympic gold medalist) on peak performance and personal mastery.
In addition, the Leveys have created a small retreat center on the island of Hawaii,
where they lead groups in a peaceful and intimate setting conducive to self-discovery.
This winter they are leading two separate week-long "Living in Balance"
Gatherings in Hawaii to explore the potentials for "Creating Peace, Harmony, &
Wholeness in a Chaotic World." Dates for the retreats are December 14-21, 2003
and March 2-9, 2004. This is a marvelous opportunity to deepen your personal search
for balance in your life. Click

Best wishes for a relaxed, enjoyable -- and balanced -- holiday season.
