A Long Winter's Nap

You are probably familiar with Clement Moore's poem The Night Before Christmas,
in which the phrase "long winter's nap" has become immortalized:
"And mamma in her 'kerchief,
and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap..."
When I think of a long winter's nap -- apart from the poem -- I am reminded of those
days when I have the chance to curl up under a warm blanket on a chilly afternoon and doze
off to dreamland for a spell.
While this may seem like a luxury or indulgence, taking a nap is a good way to
take care of yourself.

Neuroscience indicates that daytime dozing may enhance a person's capacity to learn
certain tasks.
