For more than twenty-five years he has been actively involved in the research,
practice, and teaching of various forms of "mental fitness" and peak
performance. His work with people in healthcare, business, sports, and the military has
proven the practical value of his methods of dynamic relaxation.
Joel's unique
approach to mental fitness training blends a deep experiential understanding of
relaxation, concentration, and meditation with scientific validation of these mental
states through clinical testing and psycho-physiological research and training.
Joel Levey, Ph.D.
and Michelle Levey, M.A. are founders of Seattle-based InnerWork Technologies, Inc., a
firm that specializes in developing and renewing organizational cultures in which team
spirit, community, creative intelligence, life-work balance, and inspired leadership can
thrive. The Leveys serve on the national advisory board for the Institute for Health and
Productivity Management as Chairpersons for the Center for Corporate Culture and
Organizational Health.
Over the past 25
years they have worked with over 200 leading organizations including: AT&T, NASA,
Advanced Technologies Laboratories, Hewlett-Packard, DuPont, World Bank, NOAA, Petro
Canada, Shell, Stanford Research Institute, the U.S. Army Green Berets, many medical
